Reinsurance.com.ar Vende particiación mayoritaria a Cooper Gay Group

BUENOS AIRES: OCTUBRE 2009 – REINSURANCE.COM.AR anuncia la venta de una participación
mayoritaria a Cooper Gay Group, integrando sus operaciones de Miami y Buenos Aires a la red existente
de oficinas en Latinoamérica, del Corredor independiente líder mundial en Seguros y Reaseguros.
Cooper Gay fundado en 1965, actualmente emplea a más de 600 personas, y su red de
subsidiarias se extiende a 19 países, con 29 oficinas en el mundo.
Guillermo Pastore, C.E.O de Reinsurance.com.ar dijo: “me encuentro encantado por este fundamental

| Cooper Gay Aquires Reinsurance Broker |
|
LONDON: October 2009 – Cooper Gay (Holdings) Ltd. the leading independent insurance and reinsurance broker, has announced the acquisition of the majority shareholding in Reinsurance.com.ar LLC, the Florida based specialist reinsurance broker.
Established in 2006 by Guillermo Pastore, and with offices in Miami and Buenos Aries, Reinsurance.com focuses on treaty and facultative reinsurance solutions, primarily for the Argentine market. Mr Pastore has over 20 years experience in the Latin American reinsurance sector and was formerly COO of EW Blanch and Benfield Greig in Argentina. Mr Pastore will continue as Chief Executive Officer and will drive expansion in support of Cooper Gay’s strategy for the region.
Toby Esser, Cooper Gay’s Group Chief Executive said: “We have worked closely with Guillermo Pastore over the past two years, and have been impressed by the commitment, professionalism and drive of his entire team. I am delighted that we have moved to a majority shareholding in the Company, further enhancing our ability to support the reinsurance requirements of this fast growing region.”

| Cooper Gay continues Latin American Expansion |
|
LONDON: 18 April 2007 – Cooper Gay (Holdings) Ltd. has taken a shareholding in Reinsurance.com.ar, a reinsurance broker based in Miami and Buenos Aires. Guillermo Pastore, an experienced market practitioner with more than 20 years insurance and reinsurance experience, is CEO of the operation.
Guillermo, who founded Reinsurance.com.ar in 2006, was previously Chief Operating Officer of EW Blanch Argentina and Benfield Greig Argentina where he was instrumental in creating their Latin American network. Guillermo is fluent in Spanish and English and has a degree in economics from the University of Buenos Aires.
Toby Esser, Chief Executive of the Cooper Gay Group, said: “I am delighted to welcome Guillermo and his team into the Cooper Gay network. Our stated strategy is to expand in our chosen territories by working with companies that share our passion and business philosophies. Reinsurance.com.ar is such an organisation.”
